It's time to Excellerate

Been awhile. Trying to think about what has happened while I pop a piece of chlorophyll excel gum inta me mouth. Let's start with a goal update...

My computer is 95% done. All hardware has been successfully installed. All that is left is to update everything and install functionality software.

Last night I had jack to do so I picked up a guitar and a beginners lesson VHS and gave it a whirl. I never realized how sore my hand/wrist/forearm/shoulder could get from something like that.

the mini-series...I've been thinking a lot about character profiles. I have the main and the main secondary pretty well worked out. If anyone has cobourg or other small town friday night adventures they have experienced, input would be welcome.

Dreams...still in the dark on that one.

My musical composition - I've been playing around with some basic melodies which may turn into something good. I haven't really sat down and done any real brainstorming.

The wedding video is looking not good. I haven't received a reply from the couple. That one may get vito'd.

As for Gracie Jiu-jitsu, i've been studying the tapes and am currently looking for a partner to practice with.

I think i've lost a bit of weight since work started. A lot of hard and heavy lifting is what I've been doing. We're getting orders in the magnitude of 1500-8000 trees a week. My crews department has been the field potted cedar prep. I'll get into that later. I feel more trim too. I was c hecking out myself in the mirror and I think i'm down to an A cup.

This past weekend was Submerge. It was a youth weekend conference. The youth pastor at my church kind of ran it. I have mixed feelings towards it. I hope all the kids had a great time. I got to see D-block, Liam, and Mike from the O-dot.

Other than that I've been pretty busy with work. As of Saturday, I had worked 18 of the last 21 days. This weekend was the last weekend of work for the summer. NO MORE SATURDAYS, HURRAY! I'm feeling really sore from all the work though. My feet are in pain whevener I walk. My shoulders are feeling a little better. Last week I could hardly lift my arms without pain. The cedar trees we're skidding are in the range of 60-120 pounds. The soil in their pots seem to be pure clay and stone. But now most of the big orders are filled and it's just re-orders and specialty shop(ie. Jimmy's flowers, Convenience store garden displays) orders. And it is supposed to slow down in June so I'm looking forward to that.

I've also learned how to "back-up" DVD's. Pretty complicated and technical stuff. So I've at least learned something this summer. I'm also interested in learning a new language other than french. I was thinking Italian or spanish. I'll have to wait and see where that one goes. I just got back from picking up some groceries. I stopped in at a milk store where a friend of mine works. She was telling me all about her great weekend where everyone got trashed. I've recently been finding it hard to listen to these types of stories because I just don't see the point anymore. It used to be cool. Maybe it still is and I'm not. I also feel kind of bad when someone is telling their story to me and I have to put on the face that I'm interested in how much they and everyone else drank. Ah well. I love this town. I just wish things were different.

That's it for now. Let the good times roll

  • HEY BUCK,
Well since you asked, work for me is kinda sucky right now. I finished what I was given to do way before what they had anticipated and the stuff I was supposed to do after isn't ready yet because the equipment hasn't been installed yet and won't be until mid june. So now Im stuck reading instruction manuals all day long and trying not to fall asleep at my desk. Hopefully things will pick up and I won't dread going to work.

  • It was good to see you. Tim sends his hellos. Until I come down, or you come up.
