Super Detecto Television Set....fo shizzle
So i'm finally able to move into the place beside me. It only took an extra MONTH.
A lot's happened this past month, but one thing stands out in my mind. One saturday night I was playing Halo around 1:30am. I had my headphones on so as not to wake my housemates. So there I was fighting off the Horde and Covenant when out of nowhere I hear "RAPE". My heart kind of stopped. I was pretty sure it wasnt those blue covenant guys yelling at me, so I sat quiet and listened....."RAPE". there it was again. I throw off my headphones and dash out onto my balcony. I peer over the railing and there are two guys and two girls. One of the guys appears to be physically restraining the girl who was yelling. My heart was pounding like crazy...what should I do...Should I call the cops...Do I go down and start fisticuffs with the attackers. My heart was pounding louder than I couldl think. But then I thought, hold on a sec, the girls friend is just standing there, and the other guy isn't doing/saying anything either. Maybe they're friends or something. So after a minute of struggling, the guy was able to grab something from the girl. They both walked away throwing insults back and forth.
I wasn't able to calm down for like 10 minutes. It got me thinking...if that was a real situation would I have the kahonays to do something? I didn't exactly show a fearless display that time. So I decided it's time to get in shape and get back into jiu-jitsu. The beauty of jiu-jitsu is the fact that no real striking is necessary. All the moves are great setups for big knockout strikes, but a jiu-jitsu master could probably make just about anyone cry within a few seconds of grabbing them. SO, i'm back watching the tapes, finding anything I can about technique and conditiong.
I had Roberts challenge me to a little grappling match with limited striking. I sure hope he knows what he's in for.
Anywho, next weekends thanksgiving. I have two midterms this week. i just finished a buttload of cantonese food. Me thinks it's time for a nap.

buck tuck and roll. i miss ya man. i barely saw you this summer except when you showed up with pom-pom at ignition and talked about that psycho cobourg girl who had you 'figured out'. but im glad youre back in the blog saddle. i know what ya mean - i always think im tough but yeah, when a real situation arises, im a cowardly lion. all roar, no action.
